In this world there are 3 major popular operating system for PC. They are Windows, MacOS and linux Based operating system. here we will discuss about the Operating system and how they were introduce to the world in short as possible.
Windows:
Lets Talk about the windows Operating system. This is most well-known and old operating system. In the 90's there was many operating system with windows but all of them failed but Windows survive the War of operating system and Won. Windows is owned by Microsoft and the kernel named "Windows NT Kernel" it was sold by a japanese company to owner of Microsoft Bill gates. Then they are building the windows, Bill gates steal the many feature from different OS and use it. It is a close platform Operating system. and from today there are still buggy and slow for slow low-end computer. but it is widely use by all of the normal customer. like gamers, 3D artist , video & photo editor and consumer who don't like a complex system. Even the it is paid software but it can be use as free with limited feature or use the pirated version.
MacOS:
MacOS was invented from the UNIX operating system kernel code. Before Unix become paid and restricted , Steve wozniak took some code and use to create MacOS. When Mac was first introduce it's name was "The Apple Macintosh" It's software is most user-friendly and dev friendly. Mostly people who has budget buy bag PC. It has smooth user experience and very fast than windows. It is also less buggy then Windows but it is also close source. It is very popular for coder , video editor and 3D artist.
Linux:
Linux is a kernel not an operating system most people think this as an operating system but in reality it is a kernel. but main benefit it is free also open-source. because of this 96% of device in this world use linux kernel.
It was first develop a Linus Torvalds, a Finnish Computer Science student in 1991. People were imprison by Microsoft and Apple. If anyone want to use windows they have to buy or crack it but in Europe , piracy is very strict. and if you want to use MacOS then in that people have to buy it. So Linus try to use a free os for his PC but was unable to use it and thought of free OS and try to build Linux as a fun project and later many people contribute it. Many free and open source Operating system like Ubuntu, linux mint and Debian Linux use the linux kernel. Because of free and open-source there are less bug and less problem in linux and most of all it is 100% secure. If there is any bug or vulnerability then people can easily notice it. At first Linux was complex and for nerdy guy but later the software engineer and developer give an UI and make it user friendly.
In the Area of AI, Linux developer are trying to add AI to the OS and I am quit sure this isn't are any far from it
