Both Ryzen 5 7000 and 5000 series CPU comes with stock cooler and many of have use the stock cooler. But can really the stock cooler handle the load of they Ryzen 5 processor?
Ryzen 5 processor has 6 cores and 12 threads. In easy way if we say then the core are the main components and thread helps the core. The core execute the command from the user and thread help it. The core handle the heavy works so under heavy load the core get very hot and based on the core count the power consumption is 75-90 watts. So CPU gets very hot. Now the main que stion can the stock cooler cool it ?? If we see the comparison that is given below. (Source: Youtube)
We can see that the after market cooler is cooling the processor at least 85-80 Degree celsius but the stock cooler is 95 degree. Now many will say that it can work in 95 degree and you are right but it will work only certain period of time then the CPU or the motherboard will be dead. Yes 80-85 is also huge but not all time the CPU face heavy load so it will not be much problem but If your software use too much software then buy a CPU cooler.
