Since the capacity of Ram affect the performance, many people upgrade it after they have 1 stick of Ram. but there is a common mistake that many people do
In the older system like DDR3 Ram latency doesn't matter because this DDR3 Ram can't be upgrade able. So if you are upgrade a 4GB DDR3 Ram to 8GB or 16 GB then they should only see DDR version and Ram speed. But in DDR4 Ram
They also look for another thing that is known as the latency. Latency is responsible for delivery data at high speed. if the latency is not match then they can use the Ram but they can't overclock the Ram.
Now many of the newbie is thinking why is necessary to overclock Ram if it is work. if you look at the Ram speed then they have 1333 Mhz 2400 Mhz 3200Mhz etc. If we check the Ram speed in the task manager then we can see we don't get the Ram speed that is shown. So to ensure our money is utilize in every way we overlock the Ram.
Now for DDR5 Ram:
In the DDR5 Ram everything is almost same like the DDR4 but there is one small problem in here. Some of the DDR5 Ram can't be use in both in Intel or AMD processor. We can run the system using that Ram but we will not get the full performance from it. So get full performance we must ensure that if it is compatible with intel or AMD
