which kind of SSD is best for you ?

Windows wasn't that heavy at first. only it took 40-30 second to start. but at today windows and other software are becoming heavy because most of the PC gamer have too much game launcher it took lot of time to load and that's where SSD come to save you.  As of today July 02 2023 the SSD price is decreasing. Samsung SSD's cost 80-90$ in the past but at present it cost only 50-40$ so yes 1TB is basically mostly useless now days
There are 3 type of SSD in the market Nvme, M.2 and SATA. Sata has the low speed among the SSD. it has only 500 mbps speed and the M.2 has the same amount of speed. but the Nvme has the highest speed about 7000 mbps.

 SATA SSD :

1. You must fixed your budget and see which SSD is fit in your budget SATA or Nvme but I strongly recommend you not buy cheap SSD of unknown brand. if your are buying SSD like 256GB or 512GB then you must have  30-25$ budget but if you have above this budget than you can buy 1TB SSD. but the problem is you can only get 44$ SSD at some places.

2. Almost all SATA SSD has the same speed like 500-400 mbps so you need to check which flash type they use and if they have the DRAM or not. NAND flash is use for large and permanent and the DRAM is fast temporary data transfer. If you want to run large application or games than I suggest you get a DRAM base SSD otherwise get NAND type SSD.

Nvme SSD:
1. you must see if your motherboard has Nvme slot or if it have then check it support 2280 type SSD or not. all most all the motherboard support 2280 type SSD and most of the Nvme SSD are 2280 type so you may face no problem. also check if your support PCIe gen 3 SSD or PCIe gen 4 SSD. The PCIe 4 SSD are way more expensive than the PCIe 3 SSD. PCIe 4 SSD support PCIe 3 slot but it will not get the full speed. PCIe 3 SSD also support PCI 4 port and get the full speed so keep in mind that.

2. SATA SSD has the same speed but Nvme doesn't have the same speed it has 1100 mbps to 7000 mbps so when you buy SSD check the speed of the SSD. you need to check which flash type they use and if they have the DRAM or not. NAND flash is use for large and permanent and the DRAM is fast temporary data transfer. If you want to run large application or games than I suggest you get a DRAM base SSD otherwise get NAND type SSD.

My final opinion for SSD:
if you want to use SSD in PC then I suggest you get 512GB DRam SSD and get a Nevme 1TB NAND Nvme SSD. Many of will tell to get 1TB SSD only but the problem is windows update get larger and the cache file take a large number of space and when you uninstall a program the small amount of program file left in the storage unless you use Iobit uninstaller software.
